I have been looking around for a good travel back for my street bob for when I start doing longer road trips this summer with my HOGS group. I don't want saddlebags, looking for something roomy that can be safely secured to my bike. Have been looking at T-Bags, but if anyone out there has an opinion or review of a good brand, let me know.
I do not have a sissy bar to attach anything to, so this would all be strapped to my fender.
i have a cheap sport bike tank bag that i bungie to my fender for long trips plus my saddle bags. works great and most important it was CHEAP. like $65. just cut the straps off. good option if you dont want the $300 harley stuff
I just got one of these off eBay for $85 shipped brand new and it will provide good back support with lots of room. I have a luggage rack (no sissy bar) but you don't need one if you put something on the fender to protect it. I do also have saddles but don't want to use them all the time.
I would recommend a rigid or detachable solo rack for the bike. You can mount a bag or just about anything to it and it will also protect your fender from damage. The detach is nice because it comes off when you don't need it. I use a tunnel bag like the ones found here. http://www.saddlemen.com/Products/K2...NNEL-BAGS.html

Is your rack from HD? That sounds like a good idea. How does it mount?
I got the rack brand new from a guy on here for $50 shipped but don't know if it's a HD brand or not. I doubt it. It mounts to the solo and passenger seat screws on the fender but if you had a 2 up seat, which it looks like you do, you could just set the bag on top of that and strap to the rear signals and shock mounts.

Really liking the looks and storage of these. Thanks for the info!
