It was fine when it worked right... Now it'll take me five to ten min to crank it almost every time. Pretty embarrassing...... My friends(yamaha raider, big dog) give me crap bout my harley being messed up. It diesn't have the siren thank God!!! I do have the pin set up. I'll run it by the dealer sometime. I only got one fob from previous owner.

I would change the battery in the fob. Same thing used to happen to me and I bought a new battery and it fixed the problem. Fast forward a couple of months and it started doing it again. I pulled the battery and checked it with a vom and it had less than three volts. I bought another battery and it was good to go. Must have gotten an old battery that sat on the shelf to long. I do change them every spring just to be safe.

How far away from your bike do you store your key fob? If they are stored to closely they constantly communicate. Wearing out the battery in your fob. Try replacing the battery before your next day out. Then don't store it so close.

I store it in the gun safe and the bike is about 40 yards away in a metal enclosed carport

Hm, I keep my bike in a storage unit and sometimes I leave the key in a box in there. Not doing that anymore!

Oh, and it's spring so everyone change your battery!
