got xied,s last week 2008 fat bob. used 40 bucks. work great. better throttle response. less heat. bike runs better at cruising speed for sure. tuner is 300 bucks. Thats not a few bucks more in my book. thats a lot more money in my book. Unless yur gonna do major motor work id just go with the xied,s. took me 10 min to install. plug and play and then rode it.

I don't believe there are too many owners that wouldn't spend the money on a real tuner if they experienced just how good their bike could be...most will never know.

Your bike, you decide...go cheep or have it run the way it should

I have a 2012 Fat Bob and have only changed the air cleaner and exhaust and have them on mine and it runs absolutely wonderful. I have one other bike with a more expensive tuner and I would recommend these to anyone.

I have the stage 1 screamin eagle air cleaner with k&n and rush slip ons(soon to be vance & hines Straight shots) with the xieds and fuelpak and the bike runs better than I hoped. I got my bike used with the fuelpak already installed and I got the xieds on ebay for $75. So since I don't plan on doing any other performance mods a "real" tuner wouldn't be worth it to me.

I got the xieds on my street bob with cycle shack slip ons. I think its worth the money, i plan on getting a tuner down the road, but for now xied works great. It took away some of the decel pop I was getting with the slip ons.
