So replacing the header pipe I have now with one from a 2008 or 2009 fat bob would make a big difference in sound since it has no cat in it? Sorry I am high jacking the thread. Will it bolt right up no problem?

Will bolt up, and won't make a huge difference in sound unless you also put some higher flow mufflers on (like OP already has)
