Flush mount gas cap replacement?
I have the HD black flush mount gauges installed (75327-09c) for over 3 years now--no LED issues, but have issues with the gas cap not "popping up" and getting stuck often--tried WD-40 and cleaning out crevices where the top sits into. Ended up shaving off the outer edge of where it seats with a razor. Turns out that was where it was sticking - maybe warped from heat???. it works now, but would like to pick a new one.
Does anyone know if you can just purchase the cap without buying the whole kit, and if so is there a part number....thanks

I don't have a part number, but I know you can order the replacement for it because you can order the guage itself. My LED cover flew off while riding to Daytona and those LED's are bright as **** without the cover. $125 for the Gauge itself. Your dealer should be able to get the part for you, if they are nice or you are sneaky you can get the part number and order it on line.

yup, tighten, push down and twist to put on; twist-pops up, and unscrews to take off---but when pressed down (without twisting) it would stick---would have to put a pocket knife in there to pop it up. and then the last few times it was stubborn even at knife point. Ive seen other post with the same issue--at least i'm not alone ;-)
