I'm changing my bars... Need something with a little more pullback.
Upper back pain and arm fatigue.
I've been looking and looking. I like the Carlini Drag bar - Clean Sweeps. They have a radius to them instead of hard bends. My 2 Q are
1. Is Carlini good stuff ? It certainly is near top dollar on price
2. They are offered in 1.25 or 1.5 Never seen 1.5 thick bars in person
Would they look stupid on a Wide Glide ?
I've seen 1.5" thick bars. You'd have to buy their risers for 1.5" thick bars (another $350+).
I personally think thicker bars to match the thicker (49mm) front end is a good combination. Keeps the eye moving instead of creating an eye-sore. Comprende'?
I think they would look good on a WG.. 1.5" would be perfect to match the 49mm forks.. I was thinking about getting some when I changed out my bars on my fat bob... But didn't have the cash at that time... I say go for it!!!
Carlini bars are worth the price, I cheaped out and got a set of blemished bars from them for a discount and they are great. Me and my buddies couldn't find anything wrong with them, definitely worth checking out to see if they have a set of blems in the style bar you like. Couldn't afford 1.5" risers on top of the bars so I went with the 1.25" bars. I'm happy with them but the 1.5" do look a little better.
