What'd you use to remove the 4 engine to transmission bolts? I had to buy crows foot wrenches to torque those down due to clearance issues.

Softail is easy. 1/2 wratchet wrench.

I used a simple hand wrenchmy heavier duty ratcheting wrench with its' big head area did not fit well without rubbing. I have already bought those crows feet for some other project so should be good.

OK, I am working from Photobucket.com instead of my Photobucket Apple App.

Here I have placed a jack under the transmission and have straped the transmission to keep it from moving after I pull the case.

Got her out! Because of the dowels that line up the case and transmission that are located toward the bottom, I had to slide the case forward and rotate the case counter clockwise and it still was catching a little on the drive side so with a little tilt of the top toward the drive side - out it came, pretty heavy, guessing close to 80-90lbs?
