What'd you use to remove the 4 engine to transmission bolts? I had to buy crows foot wrenches to torque those down due to clearance issues.
I used a simple hand wrenchmy heavier duty ratcheting wrench with its' big head area did not fit well without rubbing. I have already bought those crows feet for some other project so should be good.
Got her out! Because of the dowels that line up the case and transmission that are located toward the bottom, I had to slide the case forward and rotate the case counter clockwise and it still was catching a little on the drive side so with a little tilt of the top toward the drive side - out it came, pretty heavy, guessing close to 80-90lbs?
In the long run they are right. Now you probably will never have to play with the bottom end again. That is unless you loose a wrist pin clip in the case...
