I haven't been horribly active lately (not that I was ever super active) because I pulled the trigger on a showroom new 2013 FLTRX in Big Blue Pearl. Initially, I had planned on keeping either my FXDLI or my '91 FXR. But then I realized that I'd probably never ride either of them after getting the bagger, in much the same way that I never really rode my FXR after getting my Dyna. I think I was spoiled by the reliability of the Dyna.
So I gotta split from the Dyna section. I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's projects, and I've learned a lot about Dynas in general. Thanks.
There's a pic in my garage/profile, but I can't get any more for at least a couple of days. The FXR is out getting tires and possibly paint. I'll tell you a little about it, though:
80" Evo, 10.5:1 Wiseco Pistons, Andrews cam, only 200 miles on fresh rebuild, S&S Super E carb, Carl's Speed Shop pipes, new stock clutch, stock 5 speed trans, Ness "thug style" fairing, custom built 11.5" risers with narrow drags, PM grips, dual front discs, 19" 13 spoke cast front wheel, 16" solid rear wheel. Runs great, starts right up, tracks straight. No issues with it at all, other than I've abused it by not riding it.
