Made the trip down to HD for a sit down on the LR. Two inches doesn't sound like much but it sure felt like a huge difference. I tried to account for sitting position from the difference of the seats and it was still a big difference. Now, how do I justify that kind of money for a couple of brackets and control levers?
Luck, I love my forward mids on my 2013 Bob. Had forwards and being short was to forward to ride comfortably. Then sat on a new Low Rider and that convinced me. It was a pain to convert, but worth it. I wish I had ordered the bike with mids . Would have been a snap to change to forward mids.
Enjoy,
Roger
If I were going to trade some one for their stock '14 low rider peg mounts, what all would I and they need to take off? Just the peg mounts? Shift Linkage? I'd be swapping the stock mids off my '15 Street Bob for the stock Low Rider mounts.

If anyone with a 14 or newer low rider wants to trade their "further forward mid controls" for my '15 street bob stock mid controls please PM me. Thanks! EDIT: No longer looking for these parts.

Curious what happened here. I just ordered a new Street bob but really felt cramped with the stock mids. The forwards are too far (I'm 5'7 with a 30" inseam). They ordered the further forward kit for me, 2 inches sounded about right. Any of you riding them?
Before buying my Street Bob, I test rode a 2014 Low Rider. The rider triangle was amazing for me. I'm 5'8" 1/2 and have a 29" inseam. I may well add a further forward kit to mine as well.
Well, instead of forward, I went with 1 1/2" lower pegs...big difference. Still working on highway pegs; have to mount them to the 6" narrowed engine guard as I used the highway peg location to attach the engine guard..
May be topic is dead already, but tell me please where did you get lower pegs? I think lower pegs coud be best solution
