Saw some reviews on the US Amazon site about it, most stated that this slip on was louder than stock at idle, and came to life when given some throttle, but was not window shatteringly loud. Sounds just what I'm after, perhaps do a search on You Tube & see if there are any vid clips of bikes with this slip on fitted?

There's a fellow HDRCGB member who has just fitted one of the V&H slipon today to his 2014 FXDL. His comment is very easy install, considerable difference in the sound over stock, he said it sounds brilliant without being overly loud. Here's a pic of it:

A few updates,
got a short sissy bar for the wife

PIAA extreme white antivibe H4 bulb, (whiter and brighter than stock)
LaRosa left big buckle bag (waiting on matching right bag)
Supertrapp billet open end cap,
Kury Kinetic rider pegs,
HD highway peg mounts with JP cycles extended pegs.
She is running great with the PV2 tune and slip ons.

Thanks, If you look at the pic below, it comes with 3 leather straps. The 2 upper straps mounts onto the fender strut and the bottom one to the belt guard mount. (near the pulley)
I placed the straps so the buckles are inside the bag, to avoid scratching the fender.
