Starter motor recommendation

This starting problem is hit and miss, 8 out of 10 start fine. Sometimes I ride only 20 mins, shut the motor off and try to start it, it feels like the starter works so hard. If I don't start it the first 2 revs, it will take me a while, maybe 3 cranks? Then additional fuel and smoke came out the opened air cleaner.

Really? That is interesting. Where should I go? I have powervision of course, might experiment a bit.
If you have a tuner, one fix for that would be less timing advance at startup. When the engine is turning slowly enough, firing too far before the top of the piston stroke will kick the engine over backwards, momentarily turning your intake into your exhaust, and working against the starter.

My 113 will do it if the plugs has at least 7,000 miles on em some will go 8,000. Not sure what it is because the plugs look good and brown. I replace em and it cranks like it should.
