Aftermarket LED was installed prior to my purchase. Had issue with that one and dealer swapped for a standard bulb almost a year ago. Stock fork signals and LEDs on the tail. Self installed underglow but they are working fine. I took another look and noticed a broken bracket which attaches to metal on the forks. Might this be part of the grounding circuit?

I found the gremlin! Tried to duplicate the problem and noticed the pop sound near the ignition switch. Inserted key to begin removal process and got a little jolt. Went to remove battery connection and saw this... Excess of ignition cable was tucked and rubbing for who knows how long.
