Remember me? I tried the S&S 570 cams like you said, but it didn't have the low rpm torque I was looking for. Can you suggest something with a lot of low end grunt? I ride two up and in the mountains most of the time. Bike is a Ultralimited with a 110"/ SE pro ported heads 58mm TB.

What is the actual compression of that engine?
Thought you were looking for the "sound"?
The S&S .570 set at 10.2 cr should have good snap in a 110".
Done enough to know.

My 110 is set up like Scott says, and it's everything I expected. Lopey, torquey and less heat. I enjoy it no matter what gear I'm in. Tuning for this cam is key tho.

It does sound good and has snap going through the gears but it just doesnt hold 6th very well at 70 pulling hills. Its my own fault for worring about the sound

Ever thought about pulley swap or a Rivera Primo Game Changer, if you're doing a lot of mountain riding then a gearing change would be a lot more bang for the buck
Even FM will tell you their tunes are a starting point.
There is NO substitute for a proper dyno tune, and target tune can only "hold" a tune if the map is not optimal for your bike target tune will not correct it, it will only hold the values in your map
