Default 124" Air cleaner confusion

Putting together a 124" Hot setup kit on an 07 FLHRC. I'm curious if my current breather(pictured below) will be adequate. Megaflow ported S&S heads with larger intakes, Tman 662-2 cams, 58mm HPI throttle body, 5.3 HPI Injectors, Boarzilla exhaust.
Right now I have an Arlen Ness billet inverted series air cleaner which has the "Big Sucker Technology". Will this thing flow well enough to get the max out of this setup? If not what's a great, reasonably priced AC? If this sumbitch will be adequate then I don't want to go a spendin'.

If it is ok and depending on what throttle body you are running now, at the very least the backing plate may have to be replaced or modified

Last 124, 662-2, with MegaFlo heads I did hit 155 hp. I suggest looking at 6.2's. As for as the AC? I have seen those handle 130 hp but haven't had it on anything that could produce higher. Only way to tell is to try it and see. I have had good luck with HPI and S&S AC's. Even with the taller filter. The S&S is reasonably priced.

Damn, I wasn't really expecting 155hp but I wouldn't complain. It was HPI who suggested the 5.3's. He asked who was tuning and said he knew what tuner he used and should be able to get everything out of the 5.3's. I should've just got the 6.2's.
IF my AC was sufficient I was anticipating opening the backing plate up to match the HPI throttle body but if this element isn't enough it's out.
Have you tried the Arlen Ness Big Sucker II with the tall filter? I realize whatever I use I'll probably have to match the backing plate opening to the TB.
Thanks for the info!!

I have not used the big sucker II on anything that needed it.

Jim knows what your heads are going to flow and has always been pretty close with his hp predictions. I would suggest his input as well.

I have had great service and love dealing with the guys at HPI. I buy injectors other places.

Get one that moves the filter farther away from the engine. That thing will just suck hot air all day long.

I have the HD Heavy Breather with an oversized K&N filter for my 120", per FM's recommendation.

Which ever one you go with should not show much difference on, or off.
If it pinches the power you just paid to establish, ditch it.
