Default Cylinder machine work recommendations

Anyone have any recommendations for a reliable trustworthy machine shop that I could send a cylinder/jug to and have them bore it for me? Possibly send them the head as well.

if it makes any difference this is for an ATV not a Harley.

Thanks,

IF that ATV cylinder requires torque plates you're going to need to find a shop that has them

Well, neither does anybody here because we don`t know the year/make/model
Ask on an ATV brand specific ATV forum

I made a simple request seeking info for a good machine shop that has a good reputation and hopefully that someone has personal experience with.

i’ll contact the shop and ask whether or not they can or will do what I want done. I actually have two different motors that need work.

You asked a question but gave no information as to what you are working on.

When you ask a question in a technical forum, give people the information they need to make an accurate answer, don`t expect them to read your mind, you know....help us help you.

The first one I want to re-build is a 1997 Honda Foreman 400.

The next one I want to do is a 2006 Yamaha Rhino 660. I haven’t dug into it yet.

ok maybe this will help......
doing machine shop work on an American Harley Davidson is NOT the same as doing machine work on an Asian ATV,,,,there are soe similarities but there are more large differences!!!

some asian ATV's have nikisil cylinders and are not ment to be bored and honed. You need to find out if your brand and model are like that, since you didn't tell us what you are dealing with, we cant figure it out either...
Most HD machine shops specialize in HD stuff, the tooling and machines are set up differently, ,,,so in order for us to help you, put up a year make and model for your projcects, then someone muight be able to give you a reference.
