P0131...help, do i need a new ECU!
Hi Guys,
New here but wonder if any of you can help me with my problem.
I have an 07 Street Bob, 8k on the clock, 2 days ago i was riding down to see a mechanic buddy of mine to show her off as i have only had her a few weeks and as i gort there, she back fired and cut out! Typical.....
So she started firing on one can only!
I Did a diagnostic via the speedo and the code i got was one that said "front sensor running lean on 02".......i'm thinking possible injector blockage as it also then cut out at low speed and the mechanic thinks the same.
Spoke to him today though and he thinks it could be the ECU, these arent cheap so i dont want him to buy one and it not be the ECU, he said he hasnt yet checked the injector, just wondered if you have any advice, my thoughts were that if it was the ECU would it not affect more than one thing on the bike?
