106" S&S big bore kit

I have had the opposite results. The two S&S 106 kits (for 4 3/8 cranks) I had, had both taper and bore issues. I have learned my lesson and only bore seasoned cylinders now-a-days. A better job can be had when a good machinist matches the pistons to the bore.
I had my last 106 kit bored out to a 107, due to the .008 taper in the cylinder. S&S fixed this issue for us after Ron Dickey inspected my cylinders for me. Ron Dickey runs Axtell.
Even now... 5 years later, I am jealous of member Glidden's results.

I watch the oil like a hawk. No shavings or any indication of anything coming apart. No leaks. Runs like a mf'er.

WE were boring the OE cylinder here prior(since 2007) to S&S offering those BB kit to the public.

Still only $600.00, with the forged Wiseco's, bored, torque honed/plateau honed, with a complete Cometic gasket kit, ring eng gaps are set, and rings installed on the pistons.

OMG....I paid 4k.
106 S&S jugs, S&S heads, tappets, Barnet clutch, replaced the compensator while she was open...tuned...LOL Lets not talk about that.
