I would up the injectors to red bands and leave the stock throttle body. One can 'over intake' a bike fairly easily chasing numbers and ruin the bottom end of things where we all actually ride. What is important, for a well tuned bike would be to KEEP that 100 ft lbs at 2500 rpms.

Ever race carb cars? Back in the day, a nicely tuned AFB would out race and out drive the guys with the big 780 double pumpers. Why? Carb was simply was *** too big, for the engine.

I just see NOTHING you did to make a big throttle body a desirable option.

You have THREE head porters on this thread. I bet not a one of them would actually recommend anything larger than a 50mm with that 106 kit.

I agree with Scotty... those 585s seem to be working nicely. And I AM surprised by that!!!!!

Get a real live tune in that? Be a hoot to ride. Too bad, in a way, you have a TMax. Let it learn and learn, and then get some help getting good timing in there. If you had the stock Delphi, I would highly recommend getting a TTS and a dyno tune buy someone who is for real. So... let that TMax do its job. Over in the tuning section, we are starting to get visits from the guys that can make a TMax sing... like bwoltz.

There is no way a stock 106 kit will output much more regardless of TB and porting, etc. You are now limited by the static compression of that kit. If you wanted a 'hot bike', a 107
Hi comp kit would have been a way better bet. BIG cam and hi compression wins the day. But.... I wouldn't change a thing, here. I would imagine you have right at the magic 185ccp. That WILL be tune friendly for sure.

Don't make any moves until you have a good tune. You will be surprised how a good tune will make that such a better bike to ride.

My advice, and I DO tune once and awhile , is to NOT be a number chaser. Numbers mean squat, in actuality. How the bike rides and performs is everything.

Bike runs great and is very responsive.....I have a brand new 50mm Screamin Eagle TB (along with 4.9 injectors) on the shelf waiting to be installed. Most likely will tackle that this winter.

This was not a tune, just dyno. She flat lines at around 5,600, which i'm not happy about, but a bigger throttle body, injectors, & head runners will solve that(running stock t-body and intake runners in heads for now).

106*

You would add alot more horse if you got rid of that SE air cleaner it's a POS

Maybe next time go stage V 58mm TBI5.3 injectors
Port matched heads
Bigger intake valves
Dyno tune (no pre made map build your own)
That right there is another 9-15 pts easily
