Default Shinko

There was some talk a few weeks back about the quality of Shinko tires. My first set was great, good handling and 8K on the rear which I thought was good for the price. My second set is a different story. Currently on a trip with less than 3K on the set and wondering if the rear will make it home. Maybe something in the cake mix changed, but these are not looking good. Just an FYI for the forum.

SHINKO rhymes with STINKO............

Replace the "NKO" with a "T" and you have it!

For an inexpensive tire, I am happy with how my Pirelli route 66 are performing/holding up.

Nice ride, good grip and handling. They do make noise on certain road surfaces, but that don't bother me none. YD

I had a set of 777's on my 883 and loved them.

They were sticky as **** and damn good performers in the rain.

They got me across country and more without issue.

I sold the scoot before I used them up but they were still going strong after 5000+ mi

I am running stinkos right now and I love them, smooth, quiet and sticky. As to how long they will last I haven't gotten to that yet. The rear does seem to be wearing but, I ride every chance I get so.. My next rear will be something else most likely. No more Dunlop 402s though. Just like on my cars the question I have is are they black and round?

The Shinkos I put on over the winter are running fine.

The rear is showing wear, but looks to be good to get me through the season, which is pretty much all I expect out of any rear tire.

Put a set of Shinkos on my 98 Road King the first of spring. Got 1320 miles out of rear tire. Replaced it with a Micihlin Comander II. Shinko still on front. Looks ok so far ( 2300 miles )..........................................

Just pulled into Tulsa. Not sure of the exact miles, but believe less than 3K. Will be looking for a new tire in the am.

Michelin Commander II are what a good many around here have gone too. I have a set on my Venture and I can say they will be on the Evo when the time comes.

We just got back from Brason Mo and did alot riding there.
Avons were once my choice of tires but no more.

There is a shop in Pryor not far from Tulsa that I know. Good fella that will help if he can, he just won't be in the shop till Tuesday.

I'll send ya a Pm with info if ya end needing something. Call me if ya want
