My creativity lies in crafting something with my hands, I've never been very creative when it comes to naming something. Historically when it comes to motorcycles I've never given them a name. What commonly happens is I just put the word "the" in front of whatever bike I'm working on or riding. For instance, for this bike I tell the wife I'm going out to work on "The Bagger" when I'm out in the garage. Past motorcycles I've told her I'm gonna take a ride on "The VRod" or "The VStrom", depending on the bike.
For what it's worth, I do have aspirations of painting this bike with a base of black, then go over it with a pearl metallic green from HOK. I suppose with the green pearl under a clear coat combined with this beast of a motor there's a Hulk reference in there somewhere but I worry that might come off cheezy. I do like green though.
House of kolor is good stuff, make sure s that you read the tech sheets before you start mixing. I painted me 97 with hok cobalt blue. Turned out great, the candy coat requires a catalyst just like the clear
