I've decdided to go wtih the 107 as it is more of a square motor than is the 113. The bore and the stroke are with in a quarter inch of each other, and I don't believe that you have to mess around with compression releases either. Soooooooo, that's where that's at.

Butch,
Download a copy of the Engine Owners Manual. There is a section in there that deals with fitment issues. One issue taht is not covered is fuel tank/carb clearance, that can be close on some models. We've installed a few, so feel free to contact us with any issues you might have. There are others on here that have installed a few also, so we should be able to answer most of your questions. Hope this helps.
Just wondering how you made out with the engine swap... Have a guy up here that wants to install a 127 in a 92 Fatboy....Did you have to make changes to the frame or anything else..?I run the 113 in my custom, and with the V&h 2into 1 pipe wow what a bunch of more power....
Looks like we should start a Ultima Forum,,, Anyone game,,, I am a distributor for Ultima in Canada, it would be good for us Canadians to know more about these engines as there are more bikes down south....All we get is rumors it seems, Imyself have been running these engines for 8 years in numerous bikes , and no problems yet to my knowlege, I think it all come down to respect for your bike too, break them in right and then ride them like you stole them if need be..
we`ve put 127`s in softail frames,no prob.also 127 in my `97 bagger,fit fine
I built a softtail custom using this engine 5 years ago, totally awsome ..Thinking about building a drag bike also, raced a 1200 sporty for 10 years and it,s time to step it up..Any ideas you could pass on would be appreciated...We do host a CMDRA meet here every year now, this year is in Aug 7-8 , I am the guy that looks after the bike rodeo after the races...that,s fun stuff too...

113 mounted right into the 92 Fatboy with no issues. Tons of power!!
I had to clearance the front down tubes by about 1/4" on my 87 Heritage when I dropped in a 113". Used a grinder to thin the wall just slightly and a ball peen hammer to create the dimple. Sounds a bit scary, but really nothing to it.
