I work with people with disabilities, they suffer huge discrimination when job-seeking, but I would not employ somebody purely because they are "diverse", however, it wouldn't stop me employing them....if they were the best person for the job...
I was once unsuccessful in a job I applied for (in the UK) because they chose a person of colour over me because he was a person of colour, he lasted a few months and I got the job on the second try, after they asked him to "transition to a new employer".
Judge the MoCo by its products, not its politics, you have no idea of the pressure that gets put on companies by the woke lobbyists. It would be like a MAGA Dude getting rid of his Harley because he found the CEO was a Democrat...pointless and ridiculous.
CEO of Harley could be a Trans-Greenie for all I care, if the bikes are what I like, I'll buy them.
Why are people so divisive in the Land of the Free???
Well, the thing is there buddy, is that someone simply being a Democrat, as opposed to another one who advocates for a culture that ends up teaching, pushing and indoctrinating the sodomite lifestyle onto children, as well as being openly racist (so-called) anti-racists against the founding stock of this nation, are two entirely different things.
My position is actually pretty moderate in comparison to theirs.

Alright, well, I replaced the spark plugs and wires and the bike has never run better! Man, it's so nice to have the old evo purring like a kitten. The spark plugs were good, but I replaced them anyway and put them away for future use, if necessary. I went cheap with like some 30 yr old (new) Champion RN12YC's from eBay, and they are excellent.
The old, smaller spark plug wire's resistance was 5.8k ohms, while the new one from Drag Specialties is 1.8k. That's a big difference. The older long wire was 7.1k ohms, and the new one is 4.3k. No wonder the spark seemed weak. The Drag Specialties wires are a good 1/3 thicker in diameter than the factory wires were, so I'm definitely happy with the purchase.
One thing I found is that someone absolutely gobbed dielectric grease into the wires that sat in the ignition coil. The metal ends were literally filled with it. Seeing this, I had thought dielectric grease is a conductor of electricity, but as most of you already know, it is not. It's supposed to be used sparingly on the inside and lip of the wire boots. Anyway, thanks for the help.
The amount of dielectric grease is not going to make any difference in anything.. Somebody just wanted to be careful that's all... Doesn't hurt a thing.. But not knowing the difference in to much resistance will..
