Screw the standard allen top dipstick. Get one of those twist off caps(remove by hand). Not only will it solve your problem, it's very convenient rather than whipping out the allen everytime you want to check
93FXR,Did you use the stock front tin,or did you have to change it to fit the wideglide forks?
Changed it to a wideglide....bought one used, and had it painted.
Could have used the narrowglide fender with spacers, but got a great deal on a used one, so just had it sprayed to match.
I found a FXST fender on EBAY for a pretty good price. It also is already painted to match the bike,(vivid black). I plan on 41mm forks so it should fit ok? Also,I bought a speedy-check dipstick for the tranny.That solved the clearance problem.
