Default New to me Evo

Stoked I found this site and particularly this forum. Picked up a 91 softail last month and been working on it ever since. Lots of good information here. Looking forward to making some contributions in the future.

I would just chuck a bigger tank on and go riding for a few years :-) Nice bike!

Already done. She got a new coat of flat black paint as well. I need to take some recent pic's. It's almost to the rideable stage.

The blue was OK, it only needed a bigger tank!

First time I ever saw a Softail with a Sportster tank! It's usually the other way around...people are trying to fit larger tanks to Sportsters.

Yeah, the peanut tank didn't look bad...but it just didn't look right. Mounted and spaced the dash unit today. Still have to do some wiring and mount rear signals, tune her up and she should be rollin by the weekend.

When you say there is some wiring to do, that must be an understatement. I don't know where the PO hid the wireing after he put the sporty tank on but there looks like alot is missing, compared to what's under my tanks. What about the Speed-O, did all that gear come with the bike? You gonna keep that seat?
