All you need to do is go and get you a piece of bar stock from home depo.
Measure a good angel for the bar stock between the two gears in the primary.
Then cut it to length and use it to lock the gears when trying to pull off the compensator and clutch hub nuts. You will have to readjust depending on which nut you are trying to loosen or tighten.

Your 93 should have the splined shaft transmission main shaft and you shouldn't need a puller to get your clutch hub off.

Cool Yikes and Gadzooks

OUCH,

That grinding was nasty, but so glad that you found it.

I hate going on hunts for something that doesn't leave too many clues.

My scoot is an 88 Heritage Softail Classic, and I used to take the scoot to the shop when I had an issue. After getting my beast back, I often found metal shavings, Bolts loose, and the last time it when in, I just wanted the tech to adjust the timing. Bad mistake...

I picked up the beast, and noticed right out of the gate the timing was seriously advanced, and inside the timing cover was a pile of shavings that equaled 1/4 teaspoon full, and adding insult to injury the timing plate cover was caved in as though the guy whacked it with a hammer. The tech finally admitted that he had timed it by ear...exsqueeze me ?

I do all my own work now, and will never take it to a shop again, unless they are willing to let me watch up close every move the dude makes. Tired of spending more when the original idea was to spend less...

Sounds to me like your near to getting back on the road, good luck dude...
