I have a set on my 07 Fatboy, was dissapointed with the lack of sound. The baffles are sort of squashed at one end restricting the flow through the muffler. So what I did was pull the baffles out and cut them off before the bend making them straight thrus. I also drilled more holes in the baffles and rewrapped them in fibreglass. The bike is way more responsive and the noise is just right. My mates run Rush mufflers and now they are jealous of the note my mufflers are making.

from what I've heard in these forums ...... the '07 pipes are about 10% louder than stock. Not my words... but words of many around. I wouldn't get the new SE mufflers. Maybe an '06 set.

I have a set on my dyna and I personally like them. They are loud enough for me while staying street legal.

Try some S&S slip-ons you will love the sound and the performance. I run these on my Dyna and there great. Everyone that see's them and hears them loves them.
