My '08 Fat Bob runs in the 240-260 range for head temps. It will climb to about 270 idling at a stop light for a long period. That's without an oil cooler and running the stage 1 download. I haven't checked running down the interstate at 80 mph for prolonged periods. I suspect it's getting pretty hot there. Last night at 60 degree I could feel heat off the horn through my chaps on my leg. Hopefully I'll get a whole lot more organized and do more experimentation logging data off the bike this year.

Most of the time reading some of these temps I just have to laugh. First oil tank temp gauge I bought was out 40 degrees to the low side after calibration check. Took it back and they probably sold it to the next guy. I bet his oil temp is way lower than mine.
