If I go with the tw5 cam will it give the passing power that I'm wanting?
Will I have to have roller rockers and will the tw5 be hard on my valve train?

The big plus of the TW5 is that the torque range is lower and right where you would be cruising most of the time, just twist it and go. No, you will not need roller rockers and it is not hard on the valve train.
I can tell you Old Gunny, Sedeluxe and Dalton know what they are talkin about. I can tell you the 251's are a little noisey. BAGGERDSM, TOUGH LOOKING BIKE!
TXTEC,
I'll have a set of 258's for sale around the first of May PTURNER@Juno.com

WOODS TW-5 (575) LIFT OR TW-6H (590) LIFT OR HQ 575 LIFT FOR THE 103" MOTOR. Either way you will have a BIG GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR. LIKE THE WOODS CAMS MYSELF, FEEL THEY CANT BE BEAT FOR TORQUE.

i suggest the tw5 cam its a forgotten about cam that is not as aggressive as its big brother the 6hg a little more stout the the tw6.
or you can try a T-man 590 cam a very good cam and its quiet. its very similar to a tw6hg only its not as aggressive.
G
I've tried a few cams in my current 95 build & I'm diggin the sh** out of the T-man 590's...not super aggressive, but still hit pretty damn hard down low ( still hittin 100tq at 3,000rpm's)! IMO, would be even more impressive in a well built 103 with that boost of tq from the stroke!
