Everything on the bike is stock, no modifications.
Timing is set along with valve adjustment according to factory manual.
The only thing that I’ve touch is the carb ( 4 times now) cleaned checked and adjusted each time.
Before I replaced the intake seals (Peek seals) I could shoot gas in the carb and get it running but it wouldn’t stay running without playing with the throttle weird !!!
But now won’t start and the compression is pushing fuel out of the carb while trying to chock it.
So I just pulled off both heads, and check the function of each valve.
Everything checked out good and appears to working correctly!!! Dam.
So another checked dead end!!
I’m thinking that this all goes back to the carburetor.
I have everything and anything when it comes to complete repair and overhauling on my WL45 and have went though ever step in to rebuilding the carb ( 3 times ) and yet I’m getting the feeling that’s where the problem lies.
Any body out there has any ideas! I welcome any and all thoughts!
Previously someone mentioned the emulsion tube and whether or not it was installed correctly. The flat side should be pointed toward the throttle pate, not the choke side. Although it seems like the starting problem occurred before any carb work was done. But generally, this does appear to be a fuel delivery problem. ie float, needle and seat
or something in the carb fuel passages.
I'd throw a new set of spark plugs in if you haven't already.
Yeah I did replaced the float and needle & seat, i must have something off !!!
I kept on thinking maybe a passageway was blocked,
but after two deep cleaning it has to be clean with no blockage.
I will totally zone in on the float better this time.
thanks for the great feed back👍
I agree Paul it does appear to be a fuel delivery issue, what gets me it that it just came out of no where making the bike quit running.
I’ve alway had a rich running issue with it from the beginning!! I wonder if it’s always been a carb issue?
new set of plugs never hurt!
thanks Paul.

Which float, needle and seat did you use? The black unsinkable floats and stainless needle without the rubber tip are an improvement over the original style. They have worked well for me.
That was what I used, black ( rubber ducky it think it’s called) stainless steel needle and brass set.
I never felt it hang up so it had to be that I didn’t have it pulled to one side like the manual said.
Thats why I thought that the carb had a blockage somewhere because everything was running great
and than it just stopped.
And that’s on the m88 that I rebuilt 2-3 years ago, and keeping the filter always clean and burn high grade fuel. This is my baby, always clean and ready ride!
