Default Lock the bike up

When I stop to shop ( run into the grocery store )I usually only lock the front wheel and not the ignition switch, I don't like screwing with the on/off switch, I park close to the front door where the bike can be seen.If there going to steal it they have to lift it up. Thoughts?

I only lock the ignition. It's quick and easy.

I do the same. If someone really wants it, they're going to get it. I just try to keep honest people, honest.

How about setting the alarm with the fob and locking the fork.

I never lock the ignition switch or steering, and just rely on the Hands Free security system and its siren - cant get it started or even move it without the siren going off - I still consider it a deterrent and not a fail-safe anti-theft device.

The only time I lock up is overnight at a motel, and its just the forks.

I never leave my bike with the ignition unlocked.
I almost never lock the forks but try to always set the alarm.

I lock the ignition for quick stops, and both if leaving the bike out of sight (and in my garage at night). When the ignition is locked some dipstick can't turn your ignition to ACC or on and put the lights on. It's no fun coming back to a dead battery. Ask me how I know. Plus I don't want somebody to start the bike.

In the garage at home; none. At work; both, as it is out of sight.
