I ordered my jackpot headers yesterday. my question is can I install my headers with the cfr exhaust without the fuel map being installed. I am doing my stage 1 in stages. I have the arlen ness big sucker air intake. And am saving for the power vision. or should I just wait and do it all at the same time??
Yup, you can do one or the other without a tuner,
If you do both,, then she's suckin too much air and needs more fuel, aka; needs the tune.
I'm doing the same thing, buying the parts individually as I get the money. I have the advantage now of winter non-riding season to stock pile the parts then do it all at once.

just wanted to put headers on for now. already got the cfr on my stock headers now. just wondered if not having the cat in would make a difference?
will my bike run ok just switching out the headers
If you keep the CFR's and the AN BS installed, just adding the headers is not going to make things any worse.
I would not be running the CFR's and the AN BS without helping out the lean situation some, but since you are doing it anyway, adding the headers is going to make very little change in leaning it out more.
It will be a bit louder.
I know I did not answer your question if the bike would run ok. I don't think they run ok stock. When you add free flowing air cleaner and slip-ons, they run even less ok. (hot and weak on acceleration) Will they blow up right away, no. But too much heat is not good for engine longevity, nor for performance. Once you get your tuner, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how much smoother and stronger it runs.

I don't have anything but cfr exhaust installed on my factory headers. I was just thinking about putting the jackpot headers on and nothing else. but I think that I will just wait and do it all at the same time. thanks for the response!

I'm sorry, I must have misunderstood. I thought you said in your first post that you have an Arlen Ness Big Sucker installed and the CFR's installed.
