I don't care for anything under 700 miles in a day on tour. Maybe that's how I did over 42K last year and am over 41K so far. This year was shortened by a sprained knee early in the year and my wife's stroke a month ago.
I have done over 1,100 miles in just under 24 hours and many 900 miles rides each year. For me it is a test on how age is affecting me. I'm only 76 and have not slowed down yet.

Not in northern Illinois you didn't. As a retired Trooper from up there I can tell you that working the interstates all year long I only put 30,000 to 35,000 miles on my squad. You must be doing tons of winter riding down south.
