When they re-make the sportster line up I think that's where they'll get the younger crowd interested in the MoCo. Yes, it will stray from what it is now but if done correctly (in my opinion like the Softails) and they keep the price DOWN, they'll become the new best seller.

Secretly Sporty's have always been my safety net. I always know that no matter how much every other model changes, the simple perfect Sporty will always be there as it's meant to be....
If that changes too much I'll probably be lost.
To me it just has always struck the perfect balance. I know guys feel that way about the Twin Cam vs M8 too so I guess I'll just be on a neighboring island.
Luckily for those who just can't get with the new direction Harley is going with their bikes they'll be 100s of thousands of used ones for years to come and there will always be a cream puff for sale just down the road.
I have been watching all this hate for the 2018's & wondering what the hell !!....As an ole' fart that has had (30) HD's....I love what HD is doing....sold my 2016 SGS to buy a 2018 Street Glide....love the "8" motor & other enhancements.....as far as the death of the Dyna's>>>of (30) bikes, never bought a Dyna....I was a Softail guy until I switched to baggers.....as far as all this death to HD/etc....I lived/rode through the AMF days!!......go ride the new bikes :-)
