Default Check those battery cables
Hanging out in the garage , since it’s been raining all day, cleaning up the bike. Pulled the seat to clean under it and check the battery cables. Sho-nuff, got a quarter turn on each one. Caught ‘em just before it became a problem.
Don’t put it off.....it takes all of 5 minutes.

i tried to disconnect my battery yesterday on a 14 flhtk. I hope it never goes dead because i never found it.

I've got lock washers and blue locktite on mine. Learned that lesson the hard way.

Raining here all day too. I did brake fluid and cleaned my HD boots, they were pretty dirty. Will check those cables tomorrow.

I carry a 10mm wrench on my carabiner just for that possibility after the positive terminal clamp kept loosening after I put a new battery in.
It hasn't loosened up since around November but I'm leaving the wrench on my belt. I know the minute I take it off the darn clamp will
loosen again. lol

not unless its under some other ****. My 01 it was just under the seat, this one it must be buried under stuff.

More specifically, you’ll have to pop off and move the ECM and ECM tray out of the way to see that the battery is underneath.
