HD riding boots

I hope this subject is appropriate here and if not I apologize, but I thought someone here might have had the same problem. I bought a nice set of HD riding boots and really like them for the stability they give me, but I have a problem with them; they have a zipper on each side and those zippers work them selves down when I walk. I bought the zipper model because they seemed like the answer to laceing up my boots each time I got in them but now I doubt the wisedom of my choice.
Anyone have thei problem and found a solution?

Maybe like everything else Harley you need to put loctite on em.

Do not have them but most zippers lock if you turn down the little pull thingees. Have you tried this?

I bought a pair of the discontinued "Sheridan" HD boots for $65 and have no problem with the zipper.

I have a pair of HD zippered boots and the damn zippers will work their way down about 1/2 way when riding! [:@]

Hmm. Well, I dont ride in HD boots. I wear Origional S.W.A.T.s. They have a strap that velcros over the zipper when its zipped up. Maybe you could try modifiying them.
Whoda thunk it. Even the HD apperal has to have "taxes" paid on it.

Our friend Tony had that problem. The HD Dealer he bought them fromwould do nothing. He found a little independant leather shop that sold Harley boots. That guy replaced them for him and said he could send those back to Harley as defective and get the money back.
