I'm installing new intake manifold gaskets. I would like to replace both flanges. They are slightly warped. Harley shop does not have them in stock. Has anyone purchased good aftermarket flanges? My bike is a 2001 Electra Glide Standard with CV carb. I found one from JP Cycles and Dennis Kirk but the reviews were not great on the aftermarket.
I ordered a new OEM set from an out of town dealer. I was really surprised the OEM set from Harley was only $14.00. Some of these aftermarket sets are asking $85 or more. I even saw one set for $144 from a reputable reseller. With shipping it came to to $28.00 and arrives tomorrow. Thanks for the reply on the S&S.
S&S makes great stuff, especially engine parts, but some of their simple stuff is pricey. 2 flanges for $145? No thanks. J&P Cycles has a very good flange kit, comes with the gaskets, clips washers and nuts for $33. I've ordered a few of them and have never had an issue. Part # 223-607. Problem is they can't keep it in stock, they sell out quick. You have to check morning and night cause when they restock it it goes fast...

Good info when I change out my exhaust gaskets. This time I'm working on my intake manifold and carb.
I got my new OEM flanges today from Victoria Harley Davidson. Great quick service mailing the parts. Thanks Victoria Harley. I put the new flanges on a glass table today. Noticeable difference between the new and old. The old had a little warp. I'm glad I didn't take a chance and replaced them. They go on tonight. Plan to use a little grease on the seals, finger tight on the intake bolts, install the carb to get proper intake alignment before tightening. Hoping for a leak free install.

Yea, I didn't read the fine print....
J&P sells several S&S kits and other brands as well. Probably faster shipping than most. Like he said, flange and seals for $80. I didn't check, but like exhaust flanges they probably stay sold out, so you have to check with em daily...
