Almost hit by a duck!
The wife and I were going down this road in the middle of a swampy area last night and I was a little hot so I had the bike going a bit and was about 90mph when out of the side of my peripheral vision a duck I must have scared off the water took off beating his wings like crazy and flew right in front of my helmet! I mean I could have grabbed him around the neck and his wing tip had to have almost hit me in the visor. I'm not sure I would have went down if he would have hit me in the helmet but I sure didn't want to find out. Just though I'd post this. Another thing to watch out for-big birds.

Duck Man!
A buzzard flew into my handlebar last year while I was doing about 70. Scared the **** out of me! but just stayed steady and stayed on the gas. I at least knocked that F'er out! I saw him spinning to the ground in my mirror I never stopped.

That would have hurt! One time, my brother was driving an old delivery van (the kind with the big flat windshields like UPS) on a highway in California. A Condor flew thru his windshield on the passenger side.
