Hopefully you'll be back up on the road soon.. i also went down (on saturday) got some road rash on my arms.. good to see thats all though.
Glad you are o.k. and hope your ride didn't get too messed up. Went to the dealer yesterday to look at my "other woman" and take some pics. Guys said don't think its a total, but will go over it with a fine tooth comb. I hope they can get 'er back together, cause for some crazy reason, I love her more than before. Does that make any kind of sense?!
+1. Most losers act just like this. Have nothing constructive to offer. Just belittle others to make their pathetic lives feel better.
Yeah...not really sure if he's a Troll looking to cause problems or is really that out of touch with reality. I know somebody who used to be that way. Everwhere we'd go he would say or do something offensive that pissed people off and made it embarassing for me to be around him. I talked to the guy as did a few other people and he eventually got it under control.
Glad your here to talk about it. Ya got your broken wings. A B*tch of a club to join.
Hay Gump, does t-boning a dodge ram pickup qualify. A** turned in front of me in June of "08. I'm still feeling the effects of it. I'm also an old fart.
I was shopping online for a new ride the next day. At least when I could see the screen from the pain meds. Got me a black cherry 07 Heritage.
BTW the sign up now link on the cobb page is broken.

dfredb- That's a sickening thing to see your bike flipping down the road isn't it? I still remember the sound.... ugh. Glad you're up. You'll find some folks have no sympathy for you. They probably haven't crashed hard enough. I like Gump's C.O.B.B. patch. Do you have to walk with a limp to get that patch?

Mesh jackets are only good for ONE slide down the asphalt, but the road rash it saves you from, will bring a smile to your face when you replace it
Any suggestions for a mesh jacket that fits big boys? Since my accident, I've thought seriously about getting one. I didn't have road rash, but only by the grace of God.

hd has some mesh jackets that come in extended sizes, and the pricing isn't really that bad.....

Yeah, I still remember the sound of the engine racing when the wheel came off the ground. I'm gonna make an admission here. I had a mesh jacket, but guess where it was? That's right, in the saddle bag. God gave me a second chance and you can believe there's a couple of mistakes here that I will never make again! On the other plus side of all this, guys at Harley are gonna install forward controls for about $115.00 over the estimate of $5200.00+. I'll never know, but if my foot had been off the highway pegs, I might have been able to stop, but that's water under the bridge. Y'all take care!
