Default Adjustable Wind Deflectors

Does anybody have those Kuryakyn adjustable wind deflectors on their Ultra Classic yet? By adjustable I mean the ones that can open or close for air flow. They have the built in pockets for the blinkers to sit in so it makes me believe that they are just a little bit further forward than the HD ones so I think that they should work. I know that guys have tweaked the HD ones and got them to work but I like the idea of being able to open them up on warm days. I'm trying to get rid of that little opening just above the lowers and just below the fairing mounted deflectors that lets the cold air hit my knee caps on those early spring and late fall rides. I don't wear chaps or long underwear, I lumber slow enough already!

Check the Freedom Wings and Freedom Wings Plus. I have them on my Ultra. The Wings work better than the OEM fairing deflectors and the Plus close the gap behind the turn signals.

got them on my '05 and they make a difference, especially if your climate varies.

Do the Freedom Wings drop lower than the stock ones to block the wind on the knees? They look wider also.
It seems I get colder and wetter on my 08 than I did on my 98 Ultra. I had the adjustable ones from HD on my 98 in place of the fixed ones.
Definitely gonna get the plus for the 08, gotta help.

I can't tell if they drop lower or not cause I sold my OEM deflectors and can't compare. The FW are definitely wider.
I don't have wind on my knees. Is it because of the FW or because of my size (5'11")? I dunno.

No, I went w/HD's wings b/c I thought they looked better & were similar price. Really like them, but they won't sole all your wind problems. Look into fork baffle & hard lowers really make my FLHX a wind-cutter.

I've got an Ultra so already have the lowers and HD adjustable fairing wings. I also have the fork baffle. Like I said before, the 98 was warmer and dryer than the 08.

I ordered the Plus Wings last night, gotta help. I will probably get the Freedom Wings also but hope to compare a set to what I have now before spending the money.

Default Freedom wind deflectors

I have used the Freedom wind deflectors for years on several different bikes...would never ride without them. Just wish they made them for my old 94 Ultra, had to adapt a set made for later style.
