That's way too much moolah for my liking. I had my bars done, all the cables replaced with steel braided, lowering kit for the front, front and rear tires replaced with the rear pads for less than that. My bike will never see the inside of one of those places unless I finally decide to trade it in but I doubt that will ever happen.

Just for chits and giggles I asked the dealer about new bars on my RKC...parts guy leafs through a catalog and punches some number into a calculator and says its about $950.00 for parts and 7 to 8 hours labor..."its a big job ya know...we have to drain all the brake fluid".

I email Johnny at hdbikeparts.com and everything I need is under $500.00

Guess which way I'm going.
