Bike is idling at 980 to 1050. Nice, smooth throttle response with some bite. Very little, if any, decel pop.
I'm pleased, especially since I did all the installs myself and kept the costs down. I'm trying to get married, so I didn't want go too crazy.
I know many will say I need a tuner and a complete exhaust change. But the bike is a lot more nimble, is running pretty cool with just the right idle, and has a fantastic exhaust note. Isn't that what a Stage 1 is all about?

I'm no pro but from what I've read, I'd say it's complete. But with new bikes and me not knowing squat about them now days, there's no way I'd do it myself.
There are many definitions and opinions on what constitutes a stage 1. In fact you can read about it on here all day and still not have a definite answer. Other than the brands I'm running the same set up and my bike rides great. I am saving though to get a tuner as it seems like it is the best way to go.
Sounds good to me, but you can also change the head pipes, or to stay on your budget, "de cat" them. That will only cost you time. There are also many posts on removing the cats from your pipes. Good luck!
Ya, I am a little loco. And ya, I think I'm done. Just a few more projects on the bike overall. Got the parts to black out the front end, and a Custom Dynamics LED under my rear fender, run/turn/break.
Then no more wrenching. Just watch. haha.
