DO NOT IGNORE. 2016 Roadglide CVO with ABS. My situation.
About 20K miles. Started with warped left rotor, replaced both. 40K miles front end shaking violently. Left rotor burned, left caliper locked up causing wheel bearings on right front to disintegrate. Replaced both front rotors and pads and new bearings, including ABS wheel bearing. New fluid. I allowed fluid to get too low. Trip to dealer for recalibration. VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON.
I would think if the proper Service intervals were followed and performed at the dealer or other responsible party, the problem would have not presented itself.
Just wondering about the title of your post and what brake fluid levels have to do with warped rotors and wheel bearings going bad. Seems like a maintenance problem to me.
sometimes, doodooo just happens. best to get into a pre-ride inspection habit. drove 18 wheeler off/on for 2 yrs. it was a must, mainly for safety, besides required by dot and any vehicle violations are against the driver.
Please explain how the dealer claims low brake fluid did this. I don't see it. Sounds like you had a bad left caliper or hose to caliper collapsed internally. Also don't get the left caliper causing the right bearings to fail.
