Why don’t you check out your local vocational or technical high school in your area. Find out if they have an auto technician program and ask the department head if he or she wants or needs the tools. Better yet, ask if there’s students who need tools . Most of those kids have to eventually buy their own.
Exactly my friend. That was mentioned above. It is a BRILLIANT idea!!! TY again.............
As mentioned earlier, Snap On, Mac, Matco, Proto and couple other brands can be sold very easily and get some good money back. About 8 years ago I got rid of ll of the craftsman stuff I had for Snap on, Mac, and Matco. It will be given to my son when I can't use them any more and I didn't want to give him any junk from HF or sears.
A lot of my new stuff I bought off of garage journal website. Love that site but my wallet doesn't.
Garage sales or one of the local sales sites is another option. When I moved to FL I sold 4 2 3/4 hammer wrenches. Have no idea what the guy was going to use them for but he got them cheap. I didn't want to haul those 1000 miles
When you size down from a larger to smaller house, do NOT plan on wrenching anymore, what do you do with all your tools?
Yes, I will keep a few basic tools (and my compressor) only but everything else?
1. Garage Sale?
2. Drop them off at a local charity?
Oddly, the above does not seem like the right answer. What am I missing? What would you do? My kids are not interested.
I have multiple sets of sockets, adjustable pliers, vice grips, electrical stuff, etc..... AHHHH!!!!
TY!!!!

You're right about nixing the garage sale but It just so happens that I live in Florida and was thinking about starting up a charity to care for suddenly downsized tools and homeless nymphomaniacs. All applications and donations of either would be cheerfully accepted.
You should be talkin to @BuzzCap7 's mumi b4 you take away her "tool." I think, 4 ? ever reason she likes him in the basement where she can keep her one good eye on him. Or was that the girl that he was watching out the window, you know the one that moved. Hard tellin not knowin.
