FWIW...Just pony up and replace it! Mine was scratched when I got it. Not bothersome unless driving into the sun. I tried the Novis1 and it will remove some of the scratches butleft a swirly-cloudy look. Would recomend test polishing in an area you don't look through while driving to see how it will work for you. My experience is very limited and suggest replacing the windshield...You will be glad you did!

Novus #2, its made for removing small scratches in the shield. I used it for the wifes after she laid it on the wrong surface...it took the scratches out. Get it at H-D
