I went to Ray Price HD today and had a advanced map done on my 95 ' road king and i am so unhappy that i ordered a Thunder max ecu and auto tune for it when i got home .
I recently installed the T-Max on my 06 Wide Glide. (After trying the PC III along with many different canned maps and two different dyno tuners.) The T-max fired right up, and has run just fine right from the start. I expect it to fine tune its self as the mileage builds. It already runs better than the PC III did after two different dyno tunes. I would have saved money and frustration if I had just gone for the T-Max from the start.
Thanks ARCANE i know what you mean i too have been through the same bs as you and i got my new tmax system in today and i installed in and a d&d exhaust in under a hour and a half and for the first start i was very happy
You guys are probaly better with 'puters than I am... actually my 10 year old niece is too...
Need some help here with the SmartLink software. Directions say a manual in pdf form is on the CD that came with, but doesn't appear to be there. Neither are any help files. I have "reinstalled" the CD (ran the setup.exe file twice), but no go. Am I missing something?

I have had the t-max for about 5000 miles and love it. Runs better than I could of hoped for and went in and leaned out my cruise range and now getting about 40-41 mpg around town.
On your computer click Start to pull up the menu. Install Zippers CD in tray. Click on My Computor from the menu, on the list of drives "right" click on DVD/CD drive, this will pull up a menu then click on "open."Make sure you "right"click. From there you will see everything that is on the dick and you can then click on Tuning Manuel.
Dont feel bad I have about 1 month of time on the Windows system after using an ancient MAC computor for the last 10 years.
