SEST Question
Some people, like myself, are just frustrated with some limitations of the SEST. I have several bikes/trikes and used several styles of tuners. I'm also being constantly hit up by locals asking me to tune for them. I enjoy it so why not.
The Nolan we speak of is an error message when the software crashes. I use two shop computers XP Pro and Win7. Nolan messages on both... is says something like "error 123545, Nolan must now close". I know there is an open source software named Nolan but I doubt that SEST uses open source software. Maybe the development guy was named Nolan, who knows... it's just irritating when it crashes and you get Nolan telling you it's toast. Take a few minutes and do a search for Nolan. I'm sure you will see many.
OK, I'm out of here... got one in to tune now. Ride safe everyone and have a good weekend.

I will re-iterate that SEST has never crashed on me.
Here ya go, not trying to start an argument, only trying to help out.

Seems that the NOLAN error mostly happened on 64 bit systems and may have had something to do with USB drivers although one case mentioned XP SP2. Updated the software seemed to resolve the issue in a couple of cases.
Most of the users in this forum are looking for information on how to tune their own bike so they likely won't be doing several tunes a day.

I'm running out of sites to search for ya. (you may not be able to view these unless you log in) All kinds of people with Nolan on their minds.

I'll stop there but there are more that mention Nolan....
Should I look at anymore for you?

You suggested I google which returned nothing concerning NOLAN errors.
You are correct I could not read any of the links from your previous post however it might be something I'd be interested in if there is more tech info shared on using tuners.
The problem here is a lack of information returned when a question is asked. Two many times this turns into an advertisement for TTS. I follow these threads because I use the SEST and I am interested in hearing others experiences successfully using this product.
