Does anyone know if Jaime or Fuelmoto will be at the Laughlin River Run end of the month?

Would like to see them in person.

First thanks to iclick and others for all the time and effort in providing all the information and responses. Now my question is also regarding the recent upgrade. I upgraded both the PV and the software to the latest versions. Then I thought I would follow Jamies suggestion regarding the adjustment of the speedometer. I downloaded the current stock tune from the ECM to the PV, opened it up in the WinPV software and modified the speedometer value by 3%. When I went to load this tune from the PV unit to my ECM I get an error stating this version was not compatiable and it would not load.

Am I doing something wrong - very new at this or are other's have a simular problem?

Thanks

I haven't had this problem. If it continues I would call DJ.

Any issues with gauge/channel clipping should have been resolved with the newest firmware update. If you are seeying this with the newest version i will pass this info to Dynojet

Please send me a copy of the tune from the tune manager you are editing that will not reload and I will take a look at it. Send to jamie@fuelmotousa.com please include all of your bike info along with a brief email

Then you will go to Vehicle Tools/Save Copy of Stock and save your flashed calibration, then go to Vehicle Tools/Load Tune/Load Copy of Stock which will save it in the tune manager, you can then retrieve the calibration in WinPV by clicking Load Tune which brings it back to the software to view/edit, the Speedo Calibration will then be exposed

The reason the Speedo Calibration may not show up in some calibrations is due to the software level we were using when we were developing the calibration
So I downloaded the entire binary as Jamie explained. I had to perform a few extra steps to get it to work with the new firmware.

After flashing the ECM with the tune I wanted, disconnect the PV, hook it up to my laptop and delete the saved stock file. When hooking the PV back up to the bike it (the PV) will download the entire binary so you will be able to put into a slot that is editable.

By not performing the extra actions the PV will still make a copy of the new complete binary, but it will label it with a 2 or 3 or 4 etc revision #. When placing a stock file into the editable position, the PV will use the original rev not one of the sequential ones.

This is what I have found.

Looking at the info and calibrations, the modified FM map that you sent me is actually a version of the stock calibration not the Fuel Moto cal, it looks like the original original saved cal was sent to the tune manager. We need to make sure we are editing the Fuel Moto calibration.

Lets do this:
1) Flash the 0809-96-JPSlipons-205 to the ECM
2) Delete the saved stock cals with WinPv by going to backup STK and deleting them
3) Save Stock
4) Load Copy of Stock to Tune manager
5) retrieve it from Tune Manager with WinPv

You should now be able to make your edits and and reflash the calibration. If you need any additional help just let me know

Yep that worked like a charm. Thanks for the help this is the type of customer service that others should aspire to. And I probably could have solved it if I would have spent more time with the instuctions. Thanks again Jamie.
