Am pretty much of a plug and play person. I was told that once I flash the ECM, I can disconnect the unit, is this true? I do not have a laptop, only a Apple computer.
Any thoughts, impute or suggestions would be GREAT!
Thanks in advance.
First off, your PV will come with a map pre-loaded to suit your application. So once you flash it, you can take it off.
BUT, as updates come out, I think you will need a Windows PC to run the Update client. It doesn't have to be a laptop.

In this computer age you need a crystal ball, to keep up with it all.

I'm gonna save more than that with all the support FM provides, so I don't care if I never got the discount from them.

I would of paid a extra 20 just the confidence of knowing he will help me out with tune as needed is worth a lot more than that to me right now. I am very pleased at the moment with the TW-555 cams and power vision with map from fuel moto. My only reservation is with long work hours and the fact of big rains I dont have to many miles on bike with cams and tune. I am waiting for warmer temps and many more miles before I do not worry completely. But to witness his customer service makes me feel pretty good tho. I have been anxious to thank fuel moto but I want to really run the bike more than I have. First impression right now is valve train is quieter than stock NO deceleration popping runs very smooth, starts easy responds quickly to throttle input. Its everything I was hoping for at the moment. My next whoo hoo will be the Fuel Moto 107.

Thanks for writing that for me Sam! Couldn't have said it better myself. I've put a couple hundre miles on my triple nickles and really like what they've done to my bike. My PV map from Jamie at FuelMoto was right on the money as well.

Watch for the the August PNW rally here. I'll let you know next time we get some of our West side members together for a ride and see if you'd like to join us.

Has anyone played with the MPG and fuel-used gauges yet? I've been working with them through several beta-FW versions and I find them to be optimistic. MPG is looking to be 5-10% optimistic and yesterday I added 2.9 gal. when the fuel-used gauge said I had used only 2.6 gal. If I was getting the mileage it is reporting I would be a very happy camper.
