Pops on decel only, and not all the time??? I know, not helping you much. I was trying to catch the approximate RPM, I would guess around the 2200 mark. I've been grabbing the clutch on decel around the 2500 RPM range to prevent the popping.
Again, acceleration and everything else seems to be fine. Idle, warm up and shut down, all great.
yes sir that's correct. All I did was decrease the AFR in the 20KPA column from 750 to 2250 by 10%. That usually corrects decel pop issues providing the VEs are suitably correct. What I don't like about you map is your VEs. Man those things are all over the place.
The object of the video game as Mr. Wizard likes to refer to it, is getting VEs smoothed out. By smoothed out I mean no sharp peaks and valleys. You're going to have peaks and valleys but it should be subtle changes from one region to the next per say, not sharp peaks like this. But in reality, maybe this is exactly what your motor wants. We should be able to tell with the changes I made to the 20 KPA column. If that doesn't help or eliminate your pop, then we'll have to go further into it to determine why.
Again, thanks for all your time. I have already loaded it on the bike and plan on spending tomorrow messing with it.
Really would like to have a dyno guy around Fort Walton Beach, FL area that knows the PV like the guys at Fuel Moto seem to.
