Also I was running my afr ratio in my gauges and cruising I am kicking 13.8 afr. Idle I am at 14.2. If I change my idle afr to 13.9 in order to cool the bike down would I expect any issues generally?

You can set your idle to something lower, (I'm set at 13 at idle) but I don't think that is going to make a big difference in cooling down the bike. Adding a good oil cooler made a bigger difference to me.
What year bike is it, what is your CLB table set at? There's a lot banter in other parts of this forum that a tune goes a long way to cooling down the bike, but in general the experts I've talked to weren't on that page. YMMV
But, if it does, don't forget that that the AFR for the bike is determined by a combination of the AFR table and the CLB settings. 450 in CLB will result in a 14.6 mix, higher settings will be richer. My FuelMoto map has the AFR set at 700 across the entire CLB table. If you're set at 450 numbers in CLB you might set them higher to see how that helps.
PS I'm just a bozo on the bus out here.. not an expert. If you need a good write up on how to do a Log Tune, Just Dennis did a nice one and if you can't find it in this thread I can send it to you if you PM me an e-mail addy. You need to follow the directions carefully and also edit the "base value file" <bvf.pvt> on the computer but it is very easy using the directions.
